Copyright & DMCA Policy

BulkVid respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how to report alleged infringement, how we respond, and how we handle repeat violators.

1. Our role

BulkVid is a technical tool that helps users archive publicly available media for personal backup, offline reference, and research. We do not host a public library of third-party videos for redistribution. Downloaded files are streamed to the user's device; we do not store user downloads long-term.

BulkVid does not verify that any user has rights to the content they request. Users are responsible for compliance with copyright law and each platform's Terms of Service. See also our Terms of Service.

2. Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content accessed through our Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to:

Email: [email protected]
Subject line: Copyright Notice — BulkVid

Your notice should include as much of the following as possible:

  • Your full legal name and contact information (email, and mailing address if applicable)
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • Identification of the material or activity you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to investigate (e.g. platform, username, video URL, or description of how the Service is being misused)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Because BulkVid does not permanently host user downloads, we cannot remove a file from your device. We may, where appropriate, restrict access to specific URLs or patterns, suspend accounts, or take other action against misuse of the Service.

3. Abuse and other reports

For non-copyright abuse (Terms violations, fraud, security issues, or platform misuse), use the same contact: [email protected] with subject Abuse Report — BulkVid.

4. Our response process

  • We review notices in good faith and aim to respond within 5 business days.
  • We may request additional information before taking action.
  • We may notify the affected user when an account action is taken, except where prohibited by law.
  • We may forward your notice to the user where appropriate.
  • Knowingly false or misleading claims may result in rejection of the notice and potential liability for the sender.

5. Repeat infringer policy

In accordance with our Terms of Service, we maintain a policy of terminating or restricting accounts of users who are repeat infringers or who repeatedly violate acceptable-use rules. Factors include the severity of violations, number of valid notices received, and evidence of unauthorized redistribution or circumvention of access controls.

6. Counter-notification

If you believe your account was restricted in error, reply to our notice email with: (1) your contact information, (2) identification of the material or action at issue, (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the restriction was mistaken, and (4) your consent to jurisdiction of the courts in your location where required by law. We will review counter-notifications in good faith. Submit to [email protected] with subject Counter-Notification — BulkVid.

7. API and automated access

Pro and VIP API access is subject to the same copyright and acceptable-use rules as the web interface. Automated bulk access for unauthorized redistribution, scraping for resale, or circumvention of technical protections is prohibited. We may revoke API credentials without refund for violations.
